[POSTPONED] SECNA Values & Principles of Practice Workshop

[Due to current circumstances and impacts on our community - SECNA has decided to postpone this event].

One of SECNA’s key strategies is to build a connected social enterprise ecosystem to build collaboration between social enterprises and other like-minded organisations in NSW and ACT. Yet we recognise that we are part of the Australian ecosystem of 20,000 social enterprises, operating in a wide range of industries.

Key to working together effectively and having a strong ecosystem is an agreed set of principles of practice that guide how we work together. The Social Enterprise National Strategy (SENS) is now underway with workshops to establish a vision, mission and principles of practice. These will be the means through which to galvanise the diversity of the sector around shared values and identity, and to strengthen the basis for ongoing cooperation.

SECNA plans to take the SENS draft Vision and Mission, Principles of Practice and Theory of Change to ensure our strategic pillars align with and form national level activities and initiatives.

We will present our progress on SECNA’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Theory of Change at the AGM (April 1st) and outline a process to articulate and align with the Social Enterprise National Strategy (SENS).
