Peer mentoring for SECNA members

SECNA invites you to join our virtual, group peer mentoring sessions generously supported by The City of Sydney.

These sessions are designed to bring a SECNA member who is seeking help (the mentee) together with other SECNA members and experts. Through a collaborative environment, the group explore what the mentee needs and offers questions, insights, experiences and guidance for consideration.

When

Tuesday 1:00-2:00pm

Wednesday 10:00-11:00am

How do the sessions work?

  • Group introductions - Each participant briefly introduces themselves and their social enterprise (if applicable)

  • For those who have registered seeking mentoring - SECNA member outlines what they are seeking help with. No presentation material is required for this, and we encourage participants to keep this to 5 minutes to allow for discussion time.

  • Whole group - SECNA invites everyone to share questions, guidance, insights and experience based on what they've heard

  • Wrap-up

Who can participate?

FAQs

  • These sessions are recorded, and Zoom AI Companion used to generate meeting summaries. The meeting recording and summary notes are sent to registered participants (only) after the session.

  • While we encourage members to participate in group mentoring to benefit from the group's diverse perspectives and experiences, we understand a group setting isn't the most suitable option for everyone.
