Social Enterprise National Strategy: A Vision and Mission for the sector

Social Enterprise National Strategy: What’s Next

A vision and mission for the sector

Work has just kicked off to develop a vision and mission for the Australia social enterprise sector — and we would highly encourage our members to join in the conversations to provide initial feedback!

This will be the means through which to set a shared direction and articulate a compelling call to action; one that also engages the wider impact ecosystem and the Federal Government.

ASENA (Alliance of Social Enterprise Networks Australia) and the state networks have been engaged to give initial feedback on the draft vision and mission from the Yunus Centre report.

This feedback will then be compiled to put to sector-wide workshops to discuss and further develop. To allow for different availability and maximise participation, three open-invite workshops with the same format will be held on the following dates. People are encouraged to book into one only.

    • Thursday 3 February at 3pm (AEDT)

    • Tuesday 8 February at 3pm (AEDT)

    • Thursday 10 February at 3pm (AEDT)

The results of these workshops will then be compiled for ASENA, then the SENS Advisory Council, to finalise.

Shout out to Nick Verginis for supporting these workshops by offering use of the SENVIC/ASENA ticketing and hosting platforms, and to Jay Boolkin and Social Change Central for sharing the SENS update and workshop details. Collaboration and generosity continue to power this work.

You can register for one the workshops here. Hope you all can make it!
