Mentoring for SECNA members
SECNA invites members to access help and guidance through virtual, group peer mentoring sessions generously supported by The City of Sydney.
How does it work?
One SECNA member receives mentoring on a topic of their choice by the group of attendees who have joined the call (SECNA Operations team, other SECNA members, industry peers, experts etc.) The session is facilitated by SECNA. Mentees are sent an email summary of the call post session.
Session format:
Introductions - All (5 mins)
Overview of mentoring topic - Mentee (5 mins)
Open and curious questions followed by guidance and recommendations - All (45 mins)
Wrap-up - SECNA (5 mins)
When are the mentoring sessions?
Tuesday 1:00-2:00pm
Wednesday 10:00-11:00am
Who can participate?
Mentoring is available to SECNA members and others by invitation (e.g. industry experts).
Members that would prefer to listen versus contribute to the discussion are encouraged to join the session.
How do I book to receive mentoring?
Complete the mentoring booking form and a SECNA team member will be in touch to confirm your mentoring timeslot.
How do I register for a mentoring session as a general attendee?
Select a timeslot below and click 'add to calendar' to when you receive a confirmation email.

Are you seeking help on data or impact measurement?
If you are seeking help on data or impact measurement specifically, please book in to SECNA’s Open Office Hours or Small Group Coaching sessions, thanks to the generous support of the City of Sydney.
Open Office Hours are weekly on Mondays 3pm - 4:30pm. Members can book a 30m session with Maxx Silver (Data & Impact Lead) via this meeting booking link.
Small Group Coaching is for members that are interested in workshopping a specific challenge of their own and / or learning from the experience of others. Small Group Coaching will be held fortnightly on Thursdays from 11am - 12:30pm. Members can register to participate via this booking link.
