Exciting Opportunity: Lead the 2025 Social Enterprise Festival!

For the past two years, SECNA has proudly hosted the Social Enterprise Festival in central Sydney. This vibrant, family-friendly event has become an opportunity for people from all walks of life to discover, learn about, and support social enterprises. With over 70 social enterprises participating and more than 800 attendees each year, it's a celebration of people, planet and business-for-good. 

In 2025, we're gearing up for our third annual Social Enterprise Festival, and we're on the lookout for a dynamic Festival Manager to bring this event to life. We're inviting expressions of interest from social enterprises or individuals with event management experience in the social enterprise or for purpose sector. Your role will include:

  • Securing additional sponsors

  • Promoting the Festival

  • Selecting and coordinating social enterprises as stallholders, workshop facilitators and speakers

  • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers in the lead-up and on the day

  • Liaising with stakeholders

  • Managing the full event

If you're an event manager or event management company with strong ties to the social enterprise sector and the skills to organise this event (planned for mid August 2025 at UTS Business School, Ultimo), we want to hear from you! 

This role can be undertaken as a fixed-term employee (initially one day per week, building up to three days per week in August) or as a subcontractor (with deliverables and milestones).
